FAQ

The Questions OwnersActually Ask.

No marketing answers. If your question isn't here, ask it on the call — I'd rather tell you straight than oversell.

How is this different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a chat window. You ask, it answers, you copy, you paste. We don't build that. We build agents — software trained on the way you specifically run your business, wired into the tools you already use (your Gmail, your Drive, your books), running tasks end-to-end without you in the loop. The agent reads your inbox at 7 AM and drafts replies before you finish coffee. It updates your tracker after every site visit. It chases the bid you forgot. ChatGPT is a tool you use; an agent is a hire.
How long does setup take?
Three weeks from first conversation to live agents in most cases. Week 1 is a one-hour discovery call followed by your first working agent. Week 2 we add the inbox/comms layer. Week 3 we ship the rest of the back-office automations. After that I'm on call every day for changes — when your subs change, when scope changes, when the way you want something handled changes, the system bends to you.
What does it cost?
Engagements start at a setup fee in the low five figures and a monthly retainer in the high three to mid four figures depending on scope. The actual answer comes from a 30-minute call — I look at your specific work, tell you straight what's automatable and what isn't, and quote based on what we'd actually build. If agents aren't the right fit for your business, I'll tell you in the first ten minutes.
What if it doesn't work?
You see the system run for 30 days before any of the system fee is non-refundable. If it's not earning its keep — if you're not getting hours back on your calendar, if the work isn't landing the way you'd do it yourself — we refund the engagement. The retainer is month-to-month with no minimum commitment beyond the first month. This is high-touch consulting, not enterprise software; the model has to deserve to keep running.
Will I (or my team) have to learn new software?
No. The agents work inside the tools you already use. They read your existing Gmail, write to your existing Sheets, drop docs in your existing Drive folders. There's no new dashboard to log into, no new app to teach your team, no subscription stack to manage. The whole point is that the back-office work happens silently, in the tools that are already part of your day.
Where does the AI run? Is my data safe?
The system runs on a Mac Mini in our office, behind a firewall. Your business data flows between that machine, the AI provider (Anthropic), and your existing Google account — all over encrypted connections. We don't sell, share, or train models on your data. We don't keep your information beyond what's required to run your agents. You own everything we build for you.
What if my business is too small?
If you're an owner-operator personally working 20+ hours a week on email, scheduling, quoting, and customer follow-up, you're not too small — you're the exact target. The economics work because you're paying yourself back in time you can either bill out or take back as evenings and weekends. If your back-office work is genuinely under 5 hours a week, agents are probably overkill and I'll tell you so.
What integrations do you support?
Out of the box: Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Calendar. Common adds: HubSpot, QuickBooks Online, Calendly, Zapier, Slack, Twilio (SMS). If a tool has an API or even just an exportable feed, we can usually wire to it. The agents talk to whatever you already pay for; we don't make you switch.
Who owns the system after we build it?
You do. The agents, the prompts, the operating principles document, the data — all yours. If you ever want to take it in-house or hand it to another developer, we hand over the keys without friction. The retainer pays for ongoing changes and uptime; it doesn't lock you in.
Do I need to give you my passwords?
No. We connect through Google OAuth (the same consent screen you've seen a hundred times) which lets the agents act on your behalf without ever seeing your password. You can revoke access from your Google account settings in two clicks at any time, and the system stops working immediately when you do.

Thirty minutes. No pitch deck. If agents aren't a fit, you'll know in the first ten minutes.
